These are the original processed images from April 16th. Note the banding or what is known as Newton Rings.
This effect happens when imaging the Chromosphere at high magnification.
The rings are caused because the components of the optical train are not ultimately aligned to the camera sensor. (which itself may not be aligned!).
Annoying.
Normally this can be cured when imaging by taking a separate "flat frame". (long story!)
For some reason my flat did not work. In this case I was able to simulate a flat frame in Photoshop. Yay!
The images before were the "corrected" images.
